We need your help!

Our amazing parent volunteers make it possible for the PTA to provide daily support to the school and host many events and activities for our community. No matter what your interests, talents, or available time, there is a volunteer opportunity that can work for you. Whether you can lend an hour or two per year at a community event or school activity, a few hours a month as a grade liaison, or more time chairing a committee or event, we can help you find an opportunity that will make a difference for our students. We also frequently have opportunities for MCPS students in grades 6-12 to earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours by volunteering to help with events. If your middle or high school student is interested, please reach out.

In-School Volunteer Opportunities

Barnsley Teachers and Staff have compiled a list of volunteer opportunities for parents to help the school with its day-to-day operations:

Montgomery County Public Schools requires school volunteers and partnership agencies to complete certain compliance measures in order to volunteer within our school district.

Submit Photos to the Yearbook!

The Yearbook Team is excited to capture the memories from this school year! Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have. If you have great photos of school and community events (i.e. Book Fair, Fall Festival, Science Fair, spirit weeks) or students and friends just having fun, we’d like to see them.
